Collver III, LCMS director of Church Relations, and the Rev. John Mehl, regional director for Asia Pacific, visited the area. Pastor Mehl works with church and mission partners to establish priorities and develop a comprehensive strategy for global mission outreach in Asia Pacific.

Dr. Collver also got a chance to met with Pato Kakarya, member of Parliament, knighted by the Queen, and taught to be a Lutheran by Rev. DR Otto Hintze in 1948!
