Many of our readers may be interested in a conference that is taking place in Tacoma, WA, May 5–6, 2011. It is the fourth annual Emmaus Conference. The lecturer this year is President Mark Schroeder of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, speaking on the topic: “Walking Together with Jesus.”

The reactors to President Schroeder’s paper will be President Matthew Harrison of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and President John Moldstad of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. This is no doubt an important historic event in American Lutheranism among Lutherans from the former Synodical Conference.

The Emmaus Conference is open to pastors and laity alike.  For more information go to the website: emmausconference.com.
